Lisa arrived this morning; the sun was shining but it was very cold!!

At last I arrived in France after playing truant for one month . I'm only  spending two days in La Rochelle because I must go to England soon . I can't upload the experiment onto my mobile because the chidren have no time and they have to work with the Italian boy Giacomo who also arrived at school . I went with the CP classroom to read in French and to learn some details about birds living in France . Sisi

After 20 days full of colour, joy and new experiences Lisa left from the 1st Primary school of Xanthi.

She learned a lot about the Carnival festival and promised to come back some other time to take part to the big Carnival parade.

On 1st March after celebrating the spring festivals of Koukeri and Baba Marta in Bulgaria Emma from Belgium started her trip to Greece. See the pictures in her section of Puppets. We wish you a safe journey, Emma!

Hello kids!

I'm Maria from Portugal. I'm now in Germany. The spring is coming. I can see the first spring flowers. I love all the snowdrops.

Next week the dentist will visit the school. But I haven't fear!

Unfortunately we couldn't go to the Carnival because on Sunday it was raining.   :-(

Today Lili appeared in our school. Lucky her - last week it  was minus 17 grade - a bit cold for a girl from France!!! Now it is only minus 4 and the weather forecats says spring is coming!

Maria from Portugal on "YOUTUBE"

On Friday February 18, 2010,  Maria from Portugal and the children from the Belgian school in Maasmechelen have made a song and are acting on Youtube. They sing the song first in Dutch - the second part in German and the third part in French. At least they sing the song toghter in the three languages (it are the three National languages of Belgium).

Lisa and her luggages arrived today at the 1st Primary school of Xanthi,Greece.She had a small delay in Bulgaria but it's O.K.

We'll do our best to show her as much as we can from our beautiful town. She also sends her love to her family in Germany.

Emma from Belgium arrived in Bulgaria safe and sound! The kids from Saint Sofia school are very happy to welcome her!

Lisa from Germany at last started her journey to Greece. She had to stay in the school in Sofia two weeks more than planned because of an unexpected vacation. Luckily, she had her mobile recharged before the school closed, so she received many calls from her new friends and wasn't bored! She also had plenty of food to choose from in the school canteen.

Yesterday, Grzes and Eliska arrived in Italy. They were warmly greeted by the pupils of the primary school in Tonfano. They played with them in the schoolyard and tasted the "focaccia". Slurp!!!

Maria from Portugal has save and well arrived in Belgium on Tuesday February 2nd.
Maria was very hungry. She arrived just in time to eat pancakes with the children.
Also the postcards from Prague Czech Republic  arrived today.

 GRZES AND ELISKA, after having spent two delighting months with students in Greece, said gooodbye and  began their new journey to Italy.They didn't forget to send postcards back home. They hope their family to receive them soon.

Also today postcards from La Rochelle have arrived. They are beautiful and the kids liked them.

Today Xanthipi arrived in Spain. Our pupils are very excited and they have started to prepare some activities for her.

Today Jio arrived in Austria. He will join our students in winter-activities and look at the school-report of the Austrian students.

Emma came to Prague on January 6th, the Feast of Three Kings. She celebrated this hollyday along with other children. Emma tasted czech favourite ice-cream and had lots of fun.
She went to Sofia on January 26th, without forgeting sending postcard back home.

Holly had a wonderful surprise on Friday 28th January. She  is spending time with Polish children, but ....she met English children from Lanternlane School through Skype connection. Imagine that: they speak better Polish than Holly: they can count in Polish till 20!!!! And as Holly is traveling to learn foreign languages she felt a bit ashamed and decided to learn Polish as well! It is a bit hard - but Polish children try to help. Holly had more surprises on that day. She also saw Polish and Czech puppet who spent Christmas in Greece. She met not only them, but also Greek children through  Skype. The Greek children can no wait to meet her personally, but first Holly will stop to learn a bit Czech and Bulgarian!!!!

After more than a month, Jio has left his Italian friends to meet new friends. Goodbye Jio!
