GEOTHERMAL ENERGY FROM A VULCANO

We wanted to reproduce the eruption of a vulcano. If you convert this kind of energy, you get geothermal energy.

You need:

- bicarbonate                               - vinegar

- red dye                                      - aluminum foil

- cylindrical container                   - newspapers

Procedure:

1. Wrap the newspapers around the cylindrical container

2. Cover with aluminum foil

3. Pour the vinegar in the container together with the red dye

4. Add a full spoon of bicarbonate

Result: the lava will come out from the mouth of the volcano; the steam can be transformed into geothermal energy

Abbiamo voluto riprodurre l'eruzione di un vulcano. Se si converte questo tipo di energia, si può ottenene energia geotermica.

Occorrente:

- bicarbonato                           - aceto

- colorante rosso                     - carta d'alluminio

- contenitore cilindrico           - giornali

Procedimento:

1. intorno al contenitore cilindrico, avvolgere la carta di giornale 

2. ricoprire con l'alluminio

3. versare l'aceto nel contenitore insieme al colorante

4. aggiungere un cucchiaio abbondante di bicarbonato

Risultato: dalla bocca del vulcano uscirà la lava e il vapore che può essere trasformato in energia geotermica.
