I have really enjoyed staying with the children at Lantern Lane. I have been spent most of my time with the Foundation children who are 3-5 years old. We have been painting, drawing, playing games and learning some things about France that they taught the rest of the school. We have also been learning some new songs. I've even been singing some French songs! I'm having a great time.
I have been learning all about Bonfire Night too. A long long time ago a very naughty man called Guy Fawkes tried to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London using gunpowder. Thankfully the soldiers found out before he did it so nothing happened but each year in England they celebrate Bonfire Night with fireworks to remember what could have happened. They also put a "Guy" on the bonfire. Some of the children made a Guy in their classes using old clothes and newspaper. We also tried some Bonfire apples. I really enjoyed eating Bonfire toffee and toffee apples and watching the beautiful fireworks on November 5th.
Here are some photographs of things I have done in England.

We learnt some of the famous places you might see in France.

Lili enjoys having fruit and milk with us each morning.

We learnt about France and how to find it on a map.
