Nós usámos a energia hídrica para carregar o telemóvel.  A energia hídrica obtém-se a partir da água, dos rios ou dos lagos e pode ser aproveitada a partir de uma queda de água e ser convertida em energia mecânica através de turbinas hidráulicas ou moinhos de água. As turbinas podem ser usadas para acionar um gerador elétrico e fornecer energia. Nós construímos uma barragem num rio para produzir energia.

We have also used the hydropower to charge the mobile phone.  Hydro energy is obtained from the water, from rivers or lakes and can be harnessed from a waterfall and be converted into mechanical energy through turbines or water mills. These turbines can be used to trigger an electric generator and provide energy.

We built a dam in a stream to produce electric energy.

A dam is an artificial barrier, built in a river, in order to retain and accumulate a big amount of water. The energy produced by the dam is transferred to a central that transforms the potential energy into electrical energy.
