I have arrived in England safe and sound and have been having a lovely time at Lantern Lane Primary School.

I have been watching the Year 2 and 3 children who are 6-8 years old practice and perform their school play which is called Tattybogle.

I was introduced to the whole school during an assembly and then have spent the rest of the time in Year 3 with Miss Gilmore's class.

The children in Year 3 had lots of good ideas for charging my mobile phone...

They had a vote to decide on their favourite idea and the winning idea was...

To create the loudest noise possible and collect the sound energy to charge my mobile phone. The children decided to create a class orchestra in order to make the loudest noise possible. It was very loud!!!     

The children brought in their instruments from home so we had a variety of instruments and a lot of noise! The children used a funnel to collect the sound energy and wires to transfer the energy to the phone...

It worked so I can carry on travelling!!
