Eliska and Grzes in France .

Last week, we went to a fencing lesson with the CM2 B  class. We had a fencing foil  a fencing mask and a fencing glove . We fought for one hour . At the end of the fight, it was a tie.  It was difficult to concentrate for all that time but it was so funny !!!

To recharge Eliska's mobile phone, we used electrical energy produced by a thermal power plant with combustion . We built models which represent the functioning of this type of power plant .The first stage is combustion (oil, gas or coal ) which produces steam .Then, this vapor pulls a turbine which makes an alternator turn on its axis, which produces electricity .

Pour recharger le téléphone portable d'Eliska , nous avons utilisé l'énergie électrique produite par une centrale thermique à combustion . Nous avons construit des maquettes qui représentent le fonctionnement de ce type de centrale . Tout d'abord, la première étape est la combustion (pétrole, gaz ou charbon)  qui produit de  la vapeur. Cette vapeur entraîne ensuite une turbine qui fait tourner sur son axe un alternateur, ce qui produit de l'électricité.
