Istituto Comprensivo Pietrasanta 2, Italy

The "Istituto Comprensivo Pietrasanta 2°" is made up of three kindergartens, four primary schools and one secondary school. These schools are not in a single area, but they are scattered in four different little villages, not far the one from the other: Strettoia, Crociale, Quadrellara and Tonfano.

This is the primary school called "Mutti", in Strettoia. There are 85 pupils in 5 classes and 10 teachers. Strettoia it’s a so called school "a tempo pieno"; it means that students go to school from Monday to Friday; lessons start at 8:30 and finish at 16:30.

Hello! We are the fifth class of the school in Strettoia. Our school is on the hill; from the windows of our classroom we can see the sea and, in the sunny days, two small islands too. We have a special task: we are the tutors of the children of the first class. (You can see them in the drawing above: 24!) We help them to take off their jacket when they arrive to school, at lunch time we cut them the meat and pour the water in the glass and during the break we play with them. We are happy of that and we do it with pleasure.

We are a little countryside primary school called "Rigacci", in Crociale. We are 38 children, from six to eleven years old, and 4 teachers. In our school there are the courtyard to play, the computer room, a little gymnasium and the canteen. We like to go to school to learn, play and stay together.

Here is some drawings (1st class):

Hello, friends in Europe!

The name of our school is Mancini and is in a little quarter of Marina di Pietrasanta: Quadrellara. We are 18 happy and little students. We are 6 years old and now we are learning how to read and write. In fact we only know MA  ME  MI  MO  MU   LA  LE  LI  LO  LU and we have got a magic friend: Mago Ma. Our school has a large garden and in front of the school there are: 2 horses, 3 goats and a lot of hens. We arrive at school at 8:30 a.m., we leave school at 13:00 and two days at 16:30Bye ...Bye new friends ! ! !
